Chelsea Clinton: 'Never Funny to Joke About Killing President'

Chelsea Clinton lashed out at comedian Kathy Griffin after she posted a disturbing photo of herself holding a beheaded fake head resembling that of President Donald Trump.

The former first daughter condemned the photo as "vile and wrong," and declared "killing a president" is no laughing matter.

The Griffin photo, taken by photographer Tyler Shields, was first obtained by TMZ and came under immediate attack – including by the president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., who called the shot "disgusting," tweeting, "this is the left today."

Journalists and analysts also condemned the photo ploy, which Griffin defended as "merely mocking" the president.

Commentator Joe Concha said the photo should get her booted from her annual New Year's Eve gig on CNN.

And conservative writer John Podhoretz taunted Griffin she would likely get a visit from the Secret Service.
