Chelsea Clinton slammed a reporter from the Gateway Pundit website, calling on him to direct attacks toward her instead of on a student who survived the Florida school shooting.

Clinton wrote on Twitter:

Reporter Jim Hoft said a student was being "coached" by FBI agents to deliver lines that criticize President Donald Trump.

David Hogg and other students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida where a shooter killed 17 students and staff members, have appeared at rallies calling for lawmakers to take action.

Hogg spoke out against Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who has expressed doubt that gun laws could have prevented the shooting.

"It's absolutely terrifying, the fact that he immediately got up and started talking about how gun control is not the solution. Every answer is the solution at this point because we haven't tried any of them," Hogg said on CNN.

Hogg also praised the FBI for the response to the shooting, saying, "I do want to reiterate that the FBI were some of the amazing first responders who helped us get to safety."
