Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton pleaded Wednesday with opponents of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to spare his young daughters from their scorn.
"Please leave Judge Kavanaugh's daughters alone," she tweeted Wednesday.
"They do not belong in your cartoons, 'jokes' or skits. If you can't make your point about Judge Kavanaugh, whatever it may be, without bullying his kids, it's not worth making."
The Washington Examiner reported the tweet comes after a Sept. 28 cartoon by Chris Britt depicting 10-year-old Liza Kavanaugh praying for her father.
"Dear God, forgive my angry, lying, alcoholic father for sexually assaulting Dr. Ford," the cartoon read.
During his opening statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, Kavanaugh told lawmakers Liza had said to her mother, "We should pray for the woman" who accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
Clinton has also defended other children whose parents are dragged into the spotlight, including first son Barron Trump.
