Rock megastar Bruce Springsteen announced Monday he is extending his 16-week "Springsteen on Broadway" with additional shows set for Feb. 28 through June 30, Variety reported.

A digital lottery will continue to operate through the extension, as will registration for fans already signed up with Ticketmaster's "Onsale" program, the entertainment news outlet reported.

It is the second extension of shows at the Walter Kerr Theatre — the first run of shows sold out in just one day, Vulture reported.

The widely praised show is based on the New Jersey-born Boss' 2016 memoir, "Born To Run."
