Boehner Wows With Comic Chops at Correspondents' Dinner

Seems Speaker of the House John Boehner knows how to get the last laugh.

A quick-witted Boehner entertained the crowd at the Radio & TV Congressional Correspondents' Dinner on Friday night, sending a few barbs to journalists in the room, The Hill reports.

He jokingly accused NBC’s Luke Russert of being a “loud mouth” and informed MSNBC’s Ed Schultz that he never watches his show.

Opening up the 68th annual press gathering held at the Washington Convention Center, Boehner ackowledged President Obama's latest gaffe: “I hope all of you are fine. I’m fine. Just like the private sector.”

Comedian Wayne Brady took over after Boehner, with his own version of “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green, joking, “If our president can do it, I can do it, too.”
