Black Americans and Latinos are nearly three times more likely to know someone who has died from COVID-19 than white Americans, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll reveals.

Here are how the survey results, released Friday, break down:

  • 30% of black adults say they know someone who has died from COVID-19.
  • 26% of Hispanics know someone who has died from the virus.
  • 10% of whites know someone who has died as a result of the coronavirus.
  • 39% approve of the way President Donald Trump is handling the response to COVID-19 pandemic, compared to 60% who disapprove.
  • 78% are concerned they or someone they know will be infected with the virus, compared to 22% who are not concerned.

The poll, conducted May 20-21, surveyed 733 adults. The margin of error is 4.1 percentage points.
