A suspect fleeing the Secret Service was involved in a crash on I-66 in northern Virginia and is still at large, as The Washington Times reported.

One of the victims involved in the 4:50 a.m. ET crash was a White House military pass holder, according to Fox 5-D.C.

The driver of the impacted vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while a passenger in the suspect's vehicle was taken into custody, according to a statement tweeted by Adam Tuss of NBC Washington.

I-66 eastbound outside the Rosslyn Tunnel in Arlington, Virginia, was closed in the early morning hours but has since reopened.

The Arlington County Police Department is the lead agency in the investigation, but the Secret Service will provide support.

"This incident resulted in no impact to White House security operations or any Secret Service protectee," the agency said in its news release, according to Washington Top News.
