Retired astronaut Mark Kelly fired a shot at President Donald Trump on Tuesday over the latter seemingly taking credit for the lack of commercial airline deaths in 2017.

Trump tweeted this Tuesday morning:

Kelly, who is married to former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., had this to say in response:

Giffords founded the Americans for Responsible Solutions super PAC, which promotes gun control. She survived an assassination attempt in 2011 after being shot in the head. Nineteen people were shot, six of whom were killed.
