More than 160 statewide ballot measures were being voted on Tuesday in 35 states, according to Ballot Pedia, including everything from marijuana legalization to deciding whether porn stars should wear condoms.

1. California marijuana legalization is the biggest pot vote as it affects the largest population and provoked the biggest campaigns for and against it. Other states seeking to decriminalize marijuana are Arizona, Maine, Massachusetts, and Nevada. Medical legalization of marijuana is being sought in Arkansas, Florida, Montana, and North Dakota.

2. Gun Control

Gun control has become a major topic in the 2016 presidential race, as advocates have put a lot of money into backing initiatives geared towards getting guns off the streets. Gun owners who have been trying to fight against these new measures, worried that they’ll be burdened by gun reform and that it won’t stop criminals from getting their hands on guns. The gun control measures are on the ballot in California, Maine, Nevada, and Washington.

3. South Dakota minimum wage decrease for minors is swimming upstream against ballot measures to increase the minimum wage in  Arizona, Colorado, Maine, and Washington.

4. Condoms in Pornographic Films

California has led this initiative, as it’s the leading producer of porn films with most of its production coming in Los Angeles. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) requires the use of condoms during sex in pornographic films, but this notion is mostly enforced following complaints. The proposition would require adult film producers to provide their performers with condoms when they “engage in vaginal or anal penetration by a penis.”

5. Universal Healthcare

Healthcare costs in the U.S. are at an all-time high, and many Americans are calling for a major cut in these costs. There have been several healthcare measures certified for the 2016 ballots, including California’s Drug Price Standards Initiative, Proposition 61, and Colorado Amendment 69, each of which would lead to the nation’s first single-player healthcare system.

6. The California Plastic Bag Ban Veto Referendum

This measure would stop grocery stores and pharmacies from providing its customers with “plastic single-use carryout bags.” Stores would be able to charge customers for recycled grocery bags. If the proposal is approved, California would become the first state to initiate such a ban.

7. Tobacco

A tobacco measure is among the most popular on the ballot, as it addresses cigarette and tobacco “use, sales, and taxes.” One of the measures’ subtopics is the smoking ban, which strives to prohibit smoking in workplaces and other public spaces. The tobacco measure is on the ballot for several states including Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, and Massachusetts.

10. Assisted Death

This measure is often referred to as “Assisted suicide” and it would make assisted death legal under some circumstances, giving a person consent to end their life with the help of another person. That “help” refers to prescription drugs or the administration of lethal drugs. The assisted death measure will be on ballots in California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oregon, and Washington.
