"Wonder Woman 2" will be the first film to adopt the Producer’s Guild of America’s new anti-sexual harassment guidelines, which were announced Friday.

The presidents of the PGA announced together at the PGA Awards on Saturday that “Wonder Woman 2” would be the first film to implement the guidelines, iO9 reported. The film had already replaced producer and financier Brett Ratner in November after a number of women accused him of sexual harassment, including Ellen Page, who worked with him on “X-Men: Last Stand.”

The members of the PGA join the organization voluntarily, and the new guidelines for combatting sexual harassment will now be put forward as “best practices” for the 8,000 members of the group, although they will not be mandatory, The Verge reported.

“Producers possess authority both on and off the set, and can provide key leadership in creating and sustaining work environments that are built on mutual respect,” PGA presidents Gary Lucchesi and Lori McCreary said, The Verge reported.

The guidelines call for offering new reporting procedures and providing in-person training about sexual harassment for all cast and crew before production starts, including at the start of each new television season.

The fine line between taking allegations seriously and assuming guilt before it is proven is highlighted in the guidelines, with producers being encouraged not to retaliate against accusers or the accused without proof, The Verge reported.

The guidelines were developed after the harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein broke and led to claims against several other producers, including Ratner.

PGA’s board of directors unanimously approved the guidelines and have issued a lifetime ban to Weinstein.
