Wiffle Ball Catch at 'Little Fenway' Is Amazing, Goes Viral (Video)

An amazing diving, over-the-fence wiffle ball catch is being hailed online as perhaps the greatest snag ever, after a video of the play went viral.

Wiffle ball enthusiasts in Essex, Va., go all-out each year at Little Fenway, a quarter-scale replica of Boston's Fenway Park located in a family's backyard. Little Fenway played host over the weekend to the 12th annual Travis Roy Foundation Wiffle Ball Tournament, which raises money for spinal cord research.

With two outs in the top of the seventh, Konnor Fleming made the game-ending grab when he dove over the fence in right field to catch what would have been a home run ball.

"Oh, and robbed with a miracle catch," the announcer for the game can be heard saying as fans cheered. "The best catch I’ve ever seen here at Little Fenway."

The hit was initially ruled a home run, but after reviewing the tape, the umpire called it an out, according to Deadspin.

Twitter users were amazed by Fleming's remarkable catch.

This year's wiffle ball tournament raised more than $500,000 for spinal cord research.
