A British woman dubbed the "White Widow Terrorist" by tabloids may have been involved in the Kenya mall massacre that left at least 62 dead over the weekend, and now sources are saying she may have also been killed in the chaos.
Samantha Lewthwaite was married to Germaine Lindsay, the suicide bomber who killed 26 people when he blew up a London subway train in a 2005 coordinated terror attack. Lewthwaite has been on the run ever since.

Rumors that the White Widow may be among the terrorists started swirling Monday when one Kenyan intelligence officer and
two soldiers told Reuters that one of the dead militants was a white woman.
The Kenya mall standoff began around midday on Saturday, when an estimated 10 to 15 militants from the al-Qaida-linked and Somalia-based group al-Shabab stormed the mall, shooting bystanders and hurling grenades. At least 62 people have been killed in the attack, Kenya's Interior Minister Joseph Ole Lenku told reporters.
It's unclear how many attackers and hostages remain in Nairobi's Westgate shopping center as of Tuesday.
British news outlets reported that al-Shabab had praised the White Widow on its Twitter account and claimed she was involved in the rampage.
However, Lenku denied the reports Monday and said that the dead militants were all men,
but some had dressed as women, Fox News reported.
Some of the rescued hostages also recounted seeing a white woman who seemed to be
directing the other terrorists, according to the New York Daily News.
"They hunted down and killed non-Muslim shoppers, shooting them to death if they could not recite the Koran or answer questions about Islam," the paper reported.
