"Wheel of Fortune" will give away a brand-new home in Jimmy Buffet's new retirement community, Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach, Florida, as part of its "Home Sweet Home Giveaway" that will run from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, the gameshow announced.
To qualify to win the $350,000 home, viewers need to ensure they are tuned in to each episode of "Home Sweet Home," then they need to record the bonus round puzzle solution and submit the answer via the show's website, The Hollywood Reporter noted.
The final winner will be selected at random but there are also $500 Margaritaville gift cards for the Margaritaville online store up for grabs for 20 first prize winners.
On-air contestants will also have the opportunity to compete for vacations at the various Margaritaville resorts.
"After 35 seasons, it's not an easy feat to do something for the first time, but thanks to Latitude Margaritaville, we're doing just that by giving away a house," said "Wheel of Fortune" executive producer Harry Friedman, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Our viewers welcome us into their homes each night, so we're returning the favor by welcoming one of them into a new home of their own."
The retirement community is centered around recreation, dining and entertainment and includes a private beach, business center, spa, retail center and grocery store along with various other impressive features, according to its website.
"We can't think of a more fitting place for "Wheel of Fortune" to land than in Margaritaville," said John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "Regardless of their current latitude, we look forward to offering the show's contestants and viewers a chance to win a piece of paradise."
