Usain Bolt and his partner Kasi Bennett have welcomed twins into the world.
The legendary Olympic sprinter shared the news on Father's Day in an Instagram post that also revealed their twin sons' fitting names - Saint Leo Bolt and Thunder Bolt. The announcement was accompanied by a family photo of Usain, Kasi, their daughter Olympia Lightning, and the two newborns.
Bennett paid tribute to Bolt on Instagram.
"Happy Father's Day to the greatest man and dad, Love, Kasi, Olympia, Saint Leo and Thunder Bolt," she captioned in a video.
"You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones. We love you world without end!" she said in a separate post.
Bolt also used social media to announce the birth of Olympia.
"I want to wish my gf @kasi.b a happy birthday and To let u know I am happy I get to spend ur special day with u," he captioned a photo of Bennett holding Olympia in July 2020.
"I want nothing but happiness for u and will continue to doing my best keeping a smile on ur face," he continued. "Now we have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt I look forward to what the future will bring for us but be reassured that I will be the ROCK for this family."
Bolt and Bennet have been dating for several years and in 2017 the Jamaican athlete opened up about his relationship and how strong trust was between the pair.
"(When) you're famous, all the girls are throwing themselves at you. I got it out of my system already," he said.
"Now it's not as stressful to go out and see girls, and think 'Oh, my God!' " he claimed. "I'm much more relaxed."
Addressing reports, and photos, of him intimately dancing with partygoers, Bolt explained that Bennett was not worried.
"When I go out, I just have fun," he insisted. "She knows I'm responsible."
