As police search for the second Boston Marathon bombing suspect in Watertown, Mass., the suspects' father and uncle have spoken out, calling one of the brothers an "angel" and the other a "loser."

The FBI has identified the two men who bombed the Boston Marathon on Monday as the Tsarnaev brothers from Chechnya. Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in a shootout with police early Friday, and 19-year-old Dzhokhar is still on the run.

Ruslan Tsarni, the uncle of the suspects, said the brothers immigrated to the United States in 2000 or 2001 and have lived in Cambridge ever since, according to CBS Boston.

Tsarni was shocked to hear that the elder brother, Tamerlan, was killed, but said he "deserved" to die.

"He deserved his. He absolutely deserved his," Tsarni told CBS Boston. "They do not deserve to live on this earth."

The brothers' father, however, described Dzhokar Tsarnaev as an "angel."

"My son is a true angel," the Anzor Tsarnaev told the Associated Press. "Dzhokhar is a second-year medical student in the U.S. He is such an intelligent boy. We expected him to come on holidays here."

The Boston area is effectively shut down Friday as police search for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, following a night filled with car chases, gunfire, and explosives that left the elder brother and a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer dead.

The chaos began about six hours after authorities released photos of the two bombing suspects to the media Thursday. Overnight, the
men reportedly robbed a 7-Eleven, shot an MIT police officer to death, carjacked an SUV, and threw explosives out the window during a chase with police. A Transit Officer was also wounded in the scuffle.
