Tyler Perry, Close Friend of Houston Family, Visits Bobbi Kristina Brown

Tyler Perry, the actor who is close friends with the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown, reportedly made a visit this week to the hospice facility where the 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston was moved last week.

Brown, whose father is R&B entertainer Bobby Brown, has been unresponsive and under medical care since Jan. 31 when she was found facedown and unconscious in a bathtub at her suburban Atlanta home. The family decided to move her from a hospital to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, on Wednesday, saying she's "in God's hands now," the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Perry has been a loyal friend of the Houston and Brown families since before Whitney Houston's death in 2012. Not only did the actor eulogize the award-winning singer at her funeral, but he also reportedly arranged for her remains to be transported via his private airplane from California to New Jersey, according to the newspaper.

He also flew Bobby Brown to the Atlanta area after he first learned about Bobbi Kristina Brown's situation in January, Us Weekly reported.

"Tyler was absolutely shocked by the news," a source told the celebrity gossip magazine when news first broke about the younger Brown. "He heard the news and immediately offered Bobby Brown a flight in his private jet, which is why they arrived at the hospital together."

"Entertainment Tonight" reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown has had a steady flow of visitors since she was moved to hospice care,

A source told the program that doctors have completed all medical interventions for the young woman but her organs have began to fail.

"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate," Pat Houston, her maternal aunt, said in a statement last week, according to "ET." "As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

The Brown and Houston families have been at odds over Bobbi Kristina's condition.

"Bobbi Kristina is not going home to die as numerous news affiliates and websites have reported," Bobby Brown's attorney, Christopher Brown, said on June 19 before she was taken to hospice.

Bobby Brown's sister, Leolah, added on Facebook that "Bobbi Kristina Brown (sic) is 'not' on life support anymore and she has since the beginning and [sic] is continuing today to improve. And we will never give up on her!"
