President Donald Trump's new limo was camouflaged for continued secret testing in Michigan, Car and Driver magazine reported. Well, sort of. How can you hide something called the Beast, and why? It's no secret.

The limo has been put through its paces on public roads around Milford, the location of GM's Milford Proving Grounds. Car and Driver said the exterior design is a collaboration of the Cadillac Escalade SUV and CT6 sedan.

And, the go-to car mag said, the current cleaned-up version of the vehicle's look indicates that the armored seven-seat limo is close to being delivered to Trump.

In May, Autoblog said the Beast was undergoing some high-speed tests at the Milford Proving Grounds, where its camouflage design was spotted. Autoblog said the vehicle comes with an 8.1-liter gasoline-fueled V8 engine.

The presidential limo, which weighs from 15,000 to 20,000 pounds, has to protect the passengers inside, withstand a hit from an IED or RPG, and carry its own air supply if it is faced with chemical weapons attacks, Fox News said.

Autoweek said it expects the interior of his Beast to remain largely unchanged from the one that protected President Barack Obama. It will be bulletproof and should have updated communications equipment.

Autoweek said the vehicle will be equipped with a few bags of the president's own blood for transfusion purposes, oxygen tanks, guns, and tear gas.

Fox News reported last November that the U.S. Secret Service maintains a fleet of around a dozen similar vehicles, each costing about $1.5 million. General Motors has been mum on the vehicle, but has the nearly $16 million contract for the vehicle that runs through 2017.

In 2014, the Secret Service put out bid invitations to replace the vehicle now transporting Trump and General Motors won, Car and Driver said, noting that Lincoln last provided the Town Car–based Presidential State Car (its official name) from 1989–1993, for George H.W. Bush.
