Tom Brady on Deflate-Gate: 'This Isn't ISIS, No One's Dying'

Tom Brady's allusion to militant jihadist group ISIS during his Thursday press conference response to "Deflate-gate" has raised quite a few eyebrows.

"Things are going to be fine — this isn’t ISIS," the Patriots quarterback said after fielding a few questions. "You know, no one's dying."

The strange comparison made a few sports journalists scratch their heads, and was instantly immortalized with a looping Vine video (Click the audio button in the bottom right corner of the image to hear him speak).

According to a Newsweek report
, Brady took some heated questions during the press conference over the controversy dubbed "Deflate-gate," which refers to the deflated footballs that NFL officials discovered during Sunday's AFC Championship game between the Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts. One journalist asked him "When and how he altered the balls" and another asked "Is Tom Brady a cheater?"

Brady laughed off the accusations, however, saying "Everyone is trying to figure out what happened, I was as surprised as anybody when I heard Monday morning what was happening."

Regarding the footballs, he said, "I felt them, they were perfect."
