By    |   Tuesday, 12 August 2014 03:50 PM EDT

A toddler was rescued with seconds to spare after wind blew a stroller onto the train tracks at a London Underground station.

A CCTV video released Monday by British Transport Police shows the terrifying scene, in which a woman, who appears to be the child’s mother, leapt onto the tracks and pulled the child to safety before a train pulled into the station.

Moments before, a man is seen carrying the stroller and child down a staircase and leaving it near the foot of the stairs while he goes up to get another stroller and child. As a train pulls out of the station, the stroller is sucked onto the tracks, which are electrified. Meanwhile, a bystander wearing headphones appears unaware.

The incident occurred July 23 at Goodge Street station, The Daily Mail said, and police are seeking to identify those involved to make certain the child is uninjured. Charges are possible.

Twitter users were shocked.
