"The Price is Right" Aston Martin Vantage GT Coupe prize in an episode that aired Monday stunned the San Francisco Bay area woman who won the auto worth $120,265, then she went bonkers.
Minutes before winning the vintage car in the show's Spelling Bee game, said
Fox Sports, Francesca Penko told host Drew Carey that she was a wedding photographer and full-time mother in the San Francisco Bay area.
The video of her winning reaction has been viewed more than 350,000 times on YouTube.
The Aston Martin became part of cinema history as the preferred vehicle of British secret agent James Bond when it first showed up the 1964 movie "Goldfinger," according to the
Aston Martin website.
As
Us Weekly summarized it, Penko first won a hair dryer, wine vacuum cork, and frozen dessert maker to earn chances to spell the word "car" to win the game. If she picked a card that had the entire word on it, she won the game automatically.
Carey offered her $25,000 to walk away from the game, but after looking out into the audience she opted to continue with the contest.
As it turned out, the first card Carey turned over had the word "car" on it, winning the game.
Penko's win also surprised many viewers, who took to social media.
