Thaddeus Singleton, wanted for questioning in connection with the Aaron Hernandez murder investigation, died this weekend in a one-car accident, adding a bizarre twist to the case.
Singleton, 33, who was married to a cousin of the former New England Patriots tight end, was killed Sunday when the car he was driving went airborne and
crashed into the Farmington Country Club, the The Hartford Courant reported. The car was 6 feet in the air on impact.

The Nissan Maxima was registered to Andres Valderrama, Hernandez's uncle, the Courant reports. A female passenger, 27-year-old Tabitha Perry, suffered undisclosed injuries in the crash, police told the paper.
Massachusetts investigators had sought Singleton III because of his association with the incarcerated football star. Arrest records revealed that he had served time in state prisons on drug-related charges dating to the mid-1990s, the Courant said.
Hernandez is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, a friend who was dating Shaneah Jenkins, the sister of Hernandez's fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins. Lloyd's body was discovered June 17 close to Hernandez's North Attleborough home. Hernandez, who is also being investigated in connection with a 2012 double murder in Boston, as well as numerous other crimes, pleaded not guilty, while prosecutors have accused him of an "orchestrated execution."
Hernandez and two other suspects, Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace, all from Bristol, were arrested and charged for their alleged roles in the Lloyd homicide.
