Actress Suzanne Somers shared surprising details of her active sex life to prove entertainer Miley Cyrus is very wrong when she said people over 40 “don’t have sex anymore.”
Somers, 66, and her husband, Alan Hamel, 76, get busy twice daily, at least,
she disclosed during an appearance on "The Talk" Tuesday.

After 36 years of marriage the magic remains, Somers said in response to a query about their love life and its frequent intimacy.
"He's on hormones and I'm on hormones. A couple of times a day," Somers said as the audience cheered and laughed. "I'm going to be so sorry I said that.”
But she continued revealing information to the animated delight of the television hosts and audience.
“What is it about men at four in the morning? And then I'm really awake around eight or so. We have busy mornings," she said with a big smile.
Somers’ disclosure followed Cyrus’ comments about middle-aged people no longer having sex during an interview with Matt Lauer on Monday’s episode of “Today.”
“I heard when you turn 40 things starts to go a little less sexual,” Cyrus said in response to being asked if her racy persona is a phase. She said she may stop playing up her sexuality "Around 40. I heard that’s when people don’t have sex anymore."
Controversial Cyrus even zinged Lauer when he asked, “Do you know how old I am?”
“I’m going to guess … 40,” Cyrus said.
“I love you again — 55,” Lauer said.
“Fifty-five ... oh, well then, you’re really at the point of not being sexual,” she said laughing.
Somers’ sexy comments garnered postive and negative reaction on twitter.
