A seeming oasis in the desert, the
five-structure complex is designed for privacy, having no address in front and sitting atop a mountain without a driveway, being accessible only by a private funicular or a 75-step staircase, CNN Money reports.
Overlooking the Mesa Canyon, 10,000-square-foot secluded retreat, which was modeled after the French village of L’oustau De Baumaniere, features a pool, spa, outdoor amphitheater, viewing decks, gardens, courtyards and hiking trails.

The California-born, blonde actress of "Three's Company" fame originally listed the estate for
$35 million back in 2008, but there were no takers, the Mother Nature Network reported.
Somers currently lives at the Palm Springs estate with her husband of 35 years, entertainer Alan Hamel.
