Sunny, the Obama family's newest White House dog, got a little too excited this week when she jumped up and accidentally knocked over a 2-year-old little girl.
It happened at first lady Michelle Obama's annual Christmas decorating ceremony Wednesday, where children of military families help put up holiday decorations and ornaments in the White House's Blue Room.
According to Today.com, Sunny, the Portuguese Water Dog
that joined the presidential animal family in August, eagerly jumped up to greet little Ashtyn Gardner but instead pushed the toddler to the floor.

Michelle Obama quickly yanked on the dog's leash and scolded her. "Are you okay, sweetie?" she asked Gardner, while helping her up.
The little girl was fine and was later spotted petting Sunny and even letting the dog lick her face.
Sunny joins Bo, the Obama family's other Portuguese Water Dog.
"We suspect Sunny will follow in Bo's footsteps and keep the President company in the Oval Office, go for walks with the First Family after their 6:30 family dinner, and even jump up on the first lady's lap from time to time," the White House said in a statement in August when the Obamas welcomed the new dog.
