Actually, “Will and Grace” did take on President Donald Trump in its first episode after 11 years, but don’t worry, that’s really not the gist of the show's first installment which won’t be given away here.

Whether intentional or not, Debra Messing, who plays Grace on the show, grabbed a lot of eyeballs for the season premier on NBC, having raised a stink on news and social media before, during and after being placed, by the Peacock Network, on the "Meghan Kelly Today" debut. She also reportedly went to the network woodshed.

The iconic sitcom, which returned Thursday night, did throw some solid punches at the U.S. president.

Somehow in the season’s premier, the whole gang winds up at the White House, ET narrated.

Karen finds herself in charge of redecorating the Oval Office for her best friends, President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump.

Will cannot help but flirt with a congressman despite harboring contrasting political views while Jack, who is the same boy-crazy man we remember from the original 90s series, cannot stand being reminded of his one-man show “Just Jack.”

The episode featured several Trump burns that had viewers in stitches and social media buzzing.

The Washington Post shared some, including a scene in which Grace speaks about how in awe she is by the majesty of the Oval Office and the great minds that had sat at the desk, only to open a box on Trump’s desk to find a Russian-English dictionary and fidget spinner.

In another segment, Grace asks Karen to hand her a curtain swatch so she can make sure the fabric works with Trump’s coloring, to which Karen holds up a Cheetos bag.

“Yep, that’s the one,” Grace says.

Messing spoke about the theme to the first episode with Vanity Fair.

“The show always addressed politics in real time,” she said.

“So when discussing coming back, that was something that was very important to me that we honor. There was no reason to come back unless we were going to be the quintessential ‘Will & Grace’ that everybody loved.”
