Sofia Vergara Causes Stir by Posting Photo of Herself in Thong Bikini

Sofia Vergara, the Colombian actress best known for her role as Gloria on the ABC sitcom "Modern Family," caused a major stir over the weekend when she posted a racy photo of herself in a thong bikini online.

Vergara, 40, posted a series of photos from a pool party over the weekend to her WhoSay account with the captions "Pool party," "Weekend," and "Summer."

But it was the picture of her derriere that caused a stir on social media.

"I was having a bad day till just a second or three ago," one person commented on the Huffington Post.

"Clicked on this so fast, think my finger is dislocated," another posted.

Earlier this month, Vergara opened up about her famous looks in an interview with HuffPost Live.

"To be a pretty girl, to be a voluptuous girl, has opened many doors for me. I would be ungrateful to say it's all because of my brains and my talent," she said. "[But] I have stayed working for 20-something years, so there must be something else behind the guns."
