Sherri Papini was seen on surveillance video running through a church parking lot shortly after she was reportedly released by her abductors on Thanksgiving last year, Shasta County Sheriff's investigators said Tuesday after releasing footage in the mysterious case, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The video was taken about 4:15 a.m. nearly a year ago, showing Papini running near the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Woodland, California, and then out of view, authorities told the Times.

Papini is then seen moments later running back in the direction she came, toward Interstate 5, authorities told the newspaper.

"She went to the church looking for help," Shasta County Sheriff's Sgt. Brian Jackson. He added that since it was before dawn, "nobody was there."

Authorities are seeking information to identify the kidnappers, and a reward of $10,000 is being offered, the Times said.

Papini disappeared on Nov. 2, 2016, while she was out for a run near her home in Shasta County, about 215 miles north of San Francisco, Fox News reported. During the search for her, Papini's phone and headphones were found on the side of a rural road where she lived in Mountain Gate, north of Redding, California, Fox News wrote.

A passing motorist spotted Papini walking briskly heading to Interstate 5 in Yolo County on Nov. 24, 2016, according to the Shasta County Sheriff's Office stated, according to the New York Post.

Papini told authorities that she had been abducted at gunpoint by two Hispanic females who bound and beat her before eventually dumping her on the side of the highway, the Post wrote.

Shasta County Sheriff Sgt. Brian Jackson told the Record Searchlight in October, though, that officials discovered DNA from a male and female on Papini. The man's DNA, which was not from her husband Keith Papini, was found on her clothes while the female DNA was found on her body, authorities told the Searchlight.

The Record Searchlight said that authorities were focused on an alleged relationship between Papini and a Michigan man she had planned on meeting days before the abduction when he was scheduled to arrive in California on business.

Authorities determined, though, that he was not involved in the woman's disappearance, the Record Searchlight said.
