Sean Ono Lennon, the son of Yoko Ono and the late John Lennon, is mocking protesters that tore down the statues of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt during the "Indigenous Peoples Day of Rage" riots in Portland on Sunday.

The 45-year-old musician and songwriter made light of the situation in a series of tweets fired off on Monday and Tuesday.

"Can someone explain why it appears a Lincoln statue was toppled in Portland? Asking for a friend," Lennon wrote in one tweet

"The Pyramids of Giza were made under coercion from evil Pharaohs who were not very woke. I think we can all agree the Pyramids should be torn down immediately," he quipped in a follow-up tweet

"Since the invasion of Britain by Emperor Julius Caesar in 55 B.C., Italy has remained deafeningly silent. I think it’s time Italy was held accountable," he added

At least 200 people gathered to participate in the protest on Sunday held in the aftermath of the Minneapolis police killing of George Floyd in late May. Many carried weapons as they marched through town, toppling the statues and smashing windows at the Oregon Historical Society.

President Donald Trump reacted to the riots on Twitter.

"Put these animals in jail, now. The Radical Left only knows how to take advantage of very dumb ‘leadership’ fools. This is Biden! Law & Order!" he wrote.

"The Radical Left fools in Portland don’t want any help from real Law Enforcement which we will provide instantaneously. Vote!" Trump added in another tweet
