Sarah Palin and several members of her family won't be charged in connection to an alcohol-fueled brawl they reportedly started at a house party in Anchorage last month.

The Anchorage Daily News reported Thursday that it obtained police reports of the incident, which took place at the home of Korey Klingenmeyer on September 6. Five police officers who were called to the scene contributed to the report, interviewing 15 witnesses with stories that sometimes conflict.

"Overall, the accounts in the police report seemed to confirm, in broad terms, initial witness reports that surfaced before the police report's release," the newspaper wrote.

"At least two fights appear to have broken out during the party, according to witness statements: a fight involving Track Palin, 25, and his father, Todd, and one involving Bristol Palin, 23, oldest daughter of the Palins. Seven witnesses verified Klingenmeyer’s account of being punched in the face repeatedly by Bristol Palin."

Tensions were high when police arrived. Officer Benjamin Nelson wrote in the 26-page police report that Sarah and Todd were arguing with others when he showed up, and later Todd, Track, and Willow had to be separated from Klingenmeyer at one point after they began getting heated.

After the initial slugfest involving the Palin men had settled down in the cul-de-sac in front of the house, at least seven witness seem to confirm that Bristol then confronted the homeowner on his own property and attacked him.

Officers John Daily and Ruth Adolf confirmed that the Palins left in a white limousine. They said Track was shirtless, bloodied, and appeared to be quite intoxicated.

With the release of the report, Anchorage Police Department spokesperson Jennifer Castro confirmed that the Anchorage municipal prosecutor’s office will not be proceeding with charges in the case.
