Tom Guiry, best known for his role as Smalls in the 1993 kids' classic "The Sandlot," was arrested over the weekend at a Texas airport for reportedly head-butting a police officer.
United Airlines employees called police Saturday after they determined that Guiry, 31, was
too intoxicated to board a flight at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, according to CNN.
Police officers responded and were trying to decide if Guiry should be taken to a sobering center instead of being jailed for public intoxication when the child actor became agitated and threatened a sergeant.

The officer then told Guiry he was under arrest. At that point,
TMZ reported, "The Sandlot" star allegedly tried to kick the sergeant in the face and then head-butted him.
Guiry was charged with felony assault on a police officer. He reportedly posted $5,000 bail and is awaiting a court date.
"The Sandlot" celebrated its 20th anniversary last month with a cast reunion tour of the iconic Salt Lake City ball field where the film was shot, as well as stops in Los Angeles, Dayton, Ohio, and Omaha, Neb. Guiry was
one of the only cast members who did not participate, according to the Huffington Post.
