Ryan Reynolds was unharmed as the victim of a hit-and-run Friday while in a Vancouver hotel parking lot.
The incident took place in the city where Reynolds is currently filming "Deadpool," which also stars Morena Baccarin and Gina Carano.
"While walking, Ryan was struck by a paparazzi driving a car through an underground parking garage,"
Leslie Sloane, Reynolds' representative, told Us Weekly. "The man fled the scene. Ryan is okay."
That was clearly the case, as the 38-year-old Reynolds responded in jest to a CBC's reporter's request for comment.
Judy Reeves, the PR manager of the Shangri-La Vancouver,
told E! News that the hit-and-run happened in the hotel's residential parking lot and the establishment has "extended our full assistance to the authorities who are handling the matter."
Vancouver police Const. Brian Montague
told CTV News they "have an idea" who was driving in the accident.
Deadpool is a smart-mouthed comic book character and the film starring Reynolds is being made by Fox and Marvel Studios.
