Roseanne Barr returned to stand-up comedy for the first time since being fired by ABC and promptly got revenge by slamming the network, calling it a "(bleep) (bleeping) low-rated network" and keeping the audience in stitches during her performance.

Boldly taking to the stage Saturday at the Laugh Factory in Las Vegas, Barr tackled the topic of her show's cancellation – and how the network subsequently killed off her character with a drug overdose — head on.

"When you get fired you get real suicidal, but I'd never kill myself," she said, stating that it would make too many people happy, "and I'm not about making people happy," USA Today reported.

Barr then attacked ABC, which first hosted "Roseanne" from 1988 to 1997 then relaunched the show in March of last year, only to cancel it in May.

The reboot received strong ratings but the network abruptly pulled the plug after Barr caused widespread controversy for a tweet in which she suggested that former adviser to President Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett ,was a cross between the "Muslim Brotherhood" and "Planet of the Apes."

ABC did not waste time launching a spinoff of the series, "The Connors," which saw Barr's character's absence explained as an opioid overdose. The scorned Barr noted Saturday that the "low rated network" approached her to bail it out and she delivered.

"Dear ABC," she said to the audience, according to USA Today,  "when you asked me back to once again bail out your (bleep), (bleeping), low-rated network, I did so with the same vigor I've always rocked and I delivered you the highest ratings that you've had in ten (expletive) years.

"At the first sign of controversy you killed me off with a drug overdose. But you know what, I ain't dead."

Barr shared the stage at the Laugh Factory with fellow comic Andrew Dice Clay, who introduced her as "controversial," "outspoken" and "one of the biggest comedians ever."

The following day he took to Instagram to sing her praise.

"We hadn't been on stage since she got fired from ABC, and last night made so many people laugh ... And they loved her!" he wrote.
