Roseanne Barr said she is making "restitution" in the wake of ABC's cancellation of her show, although it is unclear exactly what her latest cryptic comment means.

The 65-year-old "Roseanne" star, who vowed off Twitter last week, logged back on to post a short and simple message Tuesday in which she announced she is "making restitution for the pain" she had caused after she posted racist remarks about Valerie Jarrett last week.

Barr embarked upon a tweet storm last week, after ABC pulled the plug on the reboot.

She first apologized for her controversial remark before announcing that she would be taking a break from social media.

A day later she logged back online and lashed out at colleagues speaking out against her.

Barr then posted a series of tweets detailing how she reportedly begged her boss Ben Sherwood, who is president of the Disney-ABC Television Group, to reconsider cancelling the "Roseanne" show before announcing again that she was signing off Twitter.

On Tuesday Barr was back online.

Her latest post comes as rumors are surfacing that "Roseanne" show producers are considering relaunching the show without Barr.

A source with knowledge of the situation told Entertainment Tonight that network and show execs were discussing a possible spinoff for the show Monday.

Multiple ideas are reportedly being thrown around and "it is more than likely the entire cast (minus Barr) and crew would return," the source told ET.

According to USA Today, an executive who was not authorized to speak publicly has confirmed that the network is considering options to continue the series provided that Barr is no longer involved in any way.
