Rose McGowan leveled more accusations against Harvey Weinstein in a series of tweets addressed to Jeff Bezos, the founder and chairman of Amazon, on Thursday, this time claiming that Weinstein raped her in the '90s, the Los Angeles Times reported.
McGowan, best known for starring in the former television series "Charmed" and the movie "Scream," made the charge after Twitter lifted a 12-hour suspension that temporarily blocked her from posting, the newspaper said.
McGowan had reached a $100,000 settlement with Weinstein in connection with an incident in 1997 in a hotel room at the Sundance Film Festival, The New York Times reported. The settlement reportedly included a nondisclosure agreement, according to the LA Times.
McGowan also called out one of Weinstein's biggest male stars, Ben Affleck, claiming that he knew about Weinstein's alleged pattern of harassment and abuse.
McGowan's current Twitter posts made reference to Amazon’s movie, "Manchester by the Sea," which starred Ben Affleck's brother, Casey Affleck, who won an Academy Award for his performance, the Los Angeles Times said. Casey Affleck has also been accused of sexual harassment in the past.
In the Twitter series, McGowan urged Bezos take action.
