Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is back on the dating scene three months after the suicide of his girlfriend, and has now taken up with a 27-year-old ballerina.
According to The Mirror, Melanie Hamrick is rumored to have met the 70-year-old British rocker and recent great-grandfather at one of the "Stones on Fire" tour stops in Tokyo on March 6.

At the time, Jagger was dating 49-year-old fashion designer L'Wren Scott, but she was not accompanying him on the tour as she usually did. Scott was later found dead of an apparent suicide at her New York City apartment just weeks later on March 17.
"After her death, Melanie reached out and they met in New York as friends," said one source close to the couple. "There was a spark there and she provided a distraction to the emotional hell he was going through."
Hamrick was first spotted with Jagger, who is 43 years her senior, earlier this month as the two nuzzled on a balcony in Zurich. She was unidentified at the time, but the pictures of the couple upset Scott's sister, Jan Shane of Sandy, Utah. She opined that Jagger had a lot to do with her sister's suicide, and criticized the pictures of him with the young mystery brunette.
"These pictures make me really wonder what Mick is really thinking and feeling," Shane told The Mirror. "His daughter says that he is still heartbroken and so devastated about losing my sister. And then you see these photos — he will never change."
The source that revealed Hamrick's identity also stated that Jagger invited her to Zurich to see him and the band play.
"He invited her to Zurich to see the Stones and that’s when things became intimate between them. All of his friends are very supportive because Mick has been through so much pain, and she put the smile back on his face."
Speaking with the New York Daily News, Shane said, "My sister deserves so much more respect than that. It hasn’t even been three months. I now believe that he was a bigger part of her troubles that no one knew about. I am so hurt to know that she was so sad and hurting inside and felt that she had nowhere to go."
Hamrick was previously engaged to Cuban classical dancer José Manuel Carreño as recently as February. The couple is reported to have been popular among the socialites in the New York dance scene, and it is unclear why they broke up.
