A California journalist filming a report from her bathroom accidentally caught her husband naked in the shower and broadcast it to all her viewers.
Like other reporters and TV hosts on lockdown, Melinda Meza of Sacramento’s KCRA 3 News was recording her segment from the comfort of her home when a reflection in the mirror of her husband in the shower could be seen, according to Daily Mail.
Her report was on personal grooming and how to go about styling one's hair while in quarantine. Meza was cutting her bangs during the live broadcast, unaware that her husband's naked reflection could be seen in the mirror.
Soon, Twitter was buzzing with comments, which were captured in screenshots by Daily Mail.
"Omg please let that not be her husband," one Twitter user wrote.
"Hope her husband doesn’t see this!" a user noted.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced countless radio hosts and TV presenters to broadcast their programs from their homes, but it is not as easy as it sounds. BBC Radio 4 presented Sarah Montague recently spoke of the challenges she was facing.
"Doing an outside broadcast from your kitchen is weird, but it was fun," Montague told BBC News. "My daughters kept popping their heads in — I had barked at them in advance that they weren't allowed to be on WiFi, which was a bit of a challenge for teenagers at lunchtime."
Restless children are not the only frustrations presenters have to contend with. Pets are also becoming an issue.
"I had a producer come 'round, and during the program I saw him chasing after the dog 'round the kitchen, because the dog had got hold of a plastic bag and was shaking it, making loads of noise," Montague recalled. "That was the maddest moment, but otherwise it was surprisingly straightforward."
