"Real Housewives of Dallas" star Brandi Redmond has addressed the viral video showing her husband, Bryan, allegedly cheating on her. Speaking through tears during the "RHOD" reunion special, which aired on Tuesday, Brandi said it was her "darkest hour."
"I’m disappointed that I’m aware of when that happened," she told host Andy Cohen, according to Page Six. "It was in Las Vegas during a dual bachelor/ bachelorette party for my sister and brother-in-law."
Breaking down in tears, Brandi repeated how disappointed she was about the video, which emerged weeks after she gave birth to their fourth child.
"I will tell you that, you know, this was the craziest year and my darkest hour," she said.
Responding to a question Cohen asked about whether or not she would stay with her husband after the ordeal, Brandi said she was not planning on leaving him.
"That man was there for me and is there for me, so I feel like I would be really a piece of s**t if I didn’t, you know, be there for him because he’s hurting too right now," she said.
Brandi and Bryan tied the knot in 2003 and now share four children: daughters Brinkley, 9, Brooklyn, 11, and Brilynn, 2 months, and a son, Bruin, 2. One of their daughters saw the video when a fan sent it to her private Instagram account. Brandi said that was not okay.
"As much as I can be angry and stuff, like, that’s her dad and I just feel like it’s just … not okay," she continued.
Brandi's castmates all showed their support to the reality TV star. Among them was Stephanie Hollman, who said she was angry at Bryan for his behavior.
"She has been through so much. I was honestly terrified that she was going to do something to herself, so I had a good friend of mine [check on her] … 'cause I was like, 'You have to go see her because I can’t get a hold of her,' because every one of us was pretty much traveling. It was spring break," she said. "And then he said he walked in the baby’s room, it was pitch black and she’s sitting in the corner just holding her baby and bawling and it just broke my heart. Like absolutely broke my heart."
Cast member Kameron Westcott also spoke about the video earlier this year during an appearance on the "Hollywood Raw" podcast.
"I definitely think the movie or the video was from a long time ago, which obviously there’s absolutely no excuse for it whatsoever, but he has some explaining to do, like, a lot of explaining to do," Westcott said, according to Us Weekly. "She just had a baby, but yeah, there’s a lot of explaining to do, and I feel for her. I really do."
