If you thought Republican opposition was formidable against the fiscal 2011 spending compromise that was approved by Congress last month, you ain’t seen nothing yet, says Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.,

He told Fox Business Network that GOP opposition to raising the debt limit is stronger than the opposition to the spending agreement. "I think the debt ceiling, many of the Republicans are now going to vote against it," Paul said. "More will vote against it than voted against the spending plans, and we'll see what happens. I'm not sure exactly what the count will be."
In the Senate, 15 Republicans voted against the 2011 budget deal last month, while 59 Republicans voted against it in the House.
