Queen Elizabeth II paid a visit to the set of "Game of Thrones" this week and took a long look at the famous Iron Throne used on the hit HBO show.
The Queen of England visited the set in Belfast, Ireland, on Tuesday, with Prince Philip accompanying her. The royals reportedly met several actors of the show, including the show’s creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss.

In a video showing her visit, the Queen can be seeing looking at the Iron Throne, but she didn't sit on it.
While she didn’t take a seat on it,
Queen Elizabeth was presented with a miniature version of the Iron Throne of Westeros, according to Ireland’s Independent.
But that was nothing a little Photoshop couldn't fix.
The visit to Northern Ireland was made to follow a visit made by the queen in 2012 when Her Majesty and Ireland’s Deputy First Minister Martin McGinness met for the first time in a further attempt to “normalize relations between Irish republicanism and the British establishment in the post-conflict era,” the Independent reported.
“The vast bulk of our people appreciate the effort Queen Elizabeth is making to peace and reconciliation process and I think many people will look at the visit to the Crumlin Road prison, for example, with a degree of astonishment,” McGinness said, according to the newspaper.
McGinness, a former IRA commander, was held at the prison for more than a month in the mid-1970’s on a charge of IRA membership that was later dropped.
