Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, who got divorced nearly 20 years ago, are spending the coronavirus lockdown together with their daughters and even have matching pajamas for the occasion. Demi previously admitted that she and Bruce shared a closer connection than they did before the divorce, and this is evident in a photo shared to Instagram on Monday by their daughter Tallulah, 26.
In the picture, Bruce and Demi are hugging while their daughter Scout, 28, is smiling in the background with Tallulah's boyfriend Dillon Buss. All four are wearing matching striped pajamas.
Bruce is married to Emma Heming Willis, but it is not clear whether she is also staying with her husband and Demi.
Demi and Bruce tied the knot in 1987 and were officially divorced in 2000. They have remained close ever since, and last year Demi even crashed Bruce's birthday roast.
"People wonder why our marriage came to an end, and in all honesty, I think it was because some jealousy started to creep in," she told the audience, according to Variety. "I think Bruce never really got over the fact that I rocked the bald look better than he did."
Demi has also spoken seriously about her marriage with Bruce in her memoir "Inside Out."
"It’s a funny thing to say, but I’m very proud of our divorce," she wrote. "I think Bruce was fearful at the beginning that I was going to make our split difficult, and that I would express my anger and whatever baggage that I had from our marriage by obstructing his access to the kids — that I’d turn to all of those ploys divorcing couples use as weapons," she continued. "But I didn’t, and neither did he."
Demi added that she and Bruce "felt more connected than we did before the divorce."
