Prince George visited Santa’s Magical Journey near his home, meeting Santa on a surprise visit that included both of his royal parents.
“The 17-month-old future king clapped his hands in excitement as he toured Santa’s Magical Journey at Thursford, close to the family’s new country home in Norfolk with his parents the
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge,” the Daily Mail reported.
“George seemed to have a lovely time. When I saw him, he was walking around,” Geraldine Rye, general manager of the Christmas attraction, told the Mail. “It was a private visit and they were not given any special treatment. We only knew shortly beforehand that they were coming. They went around the winding path in our exhibition center and would have seen animated animals like polar bears, penguins and reindeers as well as elves and snowmen. The visit including going into Santa’s house usually takes at least 45 minutes, but they seemed to be here a long time. They didn’t miss anything and they had a good time.”
The Mail reported that the royal family stood in line like everyone else, and like other children who saw Santa, he would have received a toy wooden train, Rye told the Mail.
“Lots of people recognized them, but they didn’t get any hassle and nobody tried to take any pictures of them,” she said.
Apparently Prince George has the style of his much-loved, trend-setting mother Kate, because the sweater vest he wore recently in his official Christmas photos
sold out online almost immediately, E! Online reported.
Yahoo Lifestyle UK reported that for Christmas Prince George will open a slew of hand-made presents valued at more than 5000 pounds, or $7,800. His maternal grandparents are giving him a handcrafted rocking zebra, the site reported.
