Apparently, 45-year-old former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson is too sexy for TV in Great Britain after the country's ad police outlawed a commercial featuring her for being sexist and degrading to women.
The commercial posted to YouTube begins with Anderson appearing in a boardroom with a female assistant and several men sitting around a table talking about a new Internet domain company. One of the men starts to daydream about a bikini-clad Anderson and her assistant covered in cream. The man is jolted back into reality when Anderson asked him a question in the boardroom.
The ad was initially approved by British ad industry group Clearcast to run after 9 p.m., but
the Advertising Standards Authority pulled the plug Wednesday, stating it could not run at all.

In the ASA report, Dreamscape Networks said the commercial was meant to be comical and a parody.
It said the ad "deliberately portrayed the lead female character, played by Pamela Anderson, as the head of the business and portrayed her and the other female character as being attractive, dynamic."
Dreamscape added that the male was portrayed as nerdy and featuring office meeting stereotypes. It said the dream sequence was "very deliberately over-the-top simulation that occurred in Adam's imagination," which led him to come up with the name for the new domain company – Crazy Domains.com.au.
Clearcast claimed it had not seen a preproduction script for it. Clearcast representatives said when they viewed the ad, they approved it for the later time frame. They noted that Anderson is a celebrity known for "flaunting her body." They also said while the "fantasy scenario was fairly explicit, Ms. Anderson's character was not portrayed as a victim; rather, she appeared a strong, confident woman who could stand up for herself."
None of those things swayed the Advertising Standards Authority, stating the commercial breached the BCAP code for being harmful and offensive.
"We noted Dreamscape Networks' and Clearcast's comments about the female characters being portrayed as strong, confident business women. We considered that they were also portrayed sexually throughout the ad, not just during the fantasy sequence," the ASA stated in its rejection of the ad.
It's hardly the first time Anderson has seen such controversy. Her sex tape with former boyfriend and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee not only created headlines but lead to legion of imitators.
