Oscar Nominations 2014: Blockbusters Lead the Way (Complete List, Video)

The nominations for the 2014 Oscars were announced Thursday with blockbuster films like "Gravity," "American Hustle," and "12 Years a Slave" leading the pack.

"Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth joined Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs to deliver this year's list of nominations live from Los Angeles Thursday morning.

Ellen DeGeneres has been tapped to host the live broadcast for the second time. The comedienne and talk show host also emceed the 79th annual Academy Awards in 2007.

The 86th annual Academy Awards will be broadcast live from Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 2, at 7 p.m. EST.
