The names of all the victims in the Pulse Orlando gay nightclub shooting have emerged, forever written in blood on the roll of what has been called the worst mass shooting in United States history, reported
NBC News.
Of the 49 people killed in the shooting, all have been identified by authorities. Another 53 people were injured.
Victims' bodies were removed from the club overnight Sunday but it isn't known where the body of shooter Omar Mateen is. He was killed by police at the scene on Sunday morning.
The
Orlando Sentinel said Kimberly "KJ" Morris, 37, had taken a job as a bouncer at Pulse after moving to the area about two months ago. She moved to Orlando from Hawaii to help her mother and grandmother, who live in the area.
Al Ferguson, a travel agency owner, told the Sentinel his employee Edward Sotomayor Jr., 34, had invited him to come to the club.
"He was with his boyfriend and they sent me a video text from the dance floor at Pulse, trying to get me to come over from where I was," Ferguson said.
Before he was killed Eddie Justice, 30, sent frantic texts to his mother Mina Justice, said
CBS News. He apparently was hiding in the restroom when he texted his mother: "He's coming. I'm gonna die."
Some, like "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling, went to social media to recognize some of the victims.
