‘Obamaloney’ Represents Red Meat for Romney

By    |   Wednesday, 08 August 2012 03:16 PM EDT

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has a clever retort for President Barack Obama’s use of the term “Romney hood” to describe the candidate’s tax plan. That rebuttal is “Obamaloney.”

Obama dubbed Romney’s plan “Romney hood” Monday because he claimed it takes from the poor and gives to the rich.

And how does Romney feel about that? “We’ve been watching the president say a lot of things about me and about my policies, and they’re just not right,” Romney told Fox News reporter Carl Cameron Tuesday, Politico reports.

“If I were to coin a term, it would be ‘Obamaloney.’ He’s serving up a dish which is, simply, in contradiction of the truth, and it relates to everything from how I’m going to help the middle class to tax policy. He’s just simply saying things that are not accurate.”
