Nike shoes aren’t just for humans anymore. The sportswear brand reportedly developed its largest shoe ever for an elephant with a limp.

Heidi Burgett, a public relations representative for Nike, tweeted a photo of the giant shoe earlier this month and explained how the company had been commissioned to create a corrective shoe for Bandula, a female elephant who was beginning to develop arthritis.

The shoe was designed to look like leathery elephant skin, and was outfitted with buckles, ties, and even baby pink Nike swooshes on the sides, which faded from wear, according to Burgett.

Joel Colley, an art director at Nike, shared the picture of the unique shoe on Instagram back in October, but it's not clear when it was made or how long Bandula wore the shoe for. It's also not clear how Nike heard about Bandula's ailment or where the elephant is housed.

Still, as news broke about Nike's elephant shoe, fans of the brand voiced their support for the company's good deed on social media.
