The passionate kiss that Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth shared in the final scene of "Thor: The Dark World" may not have been everything it seemed.
Portman, who plays astrophysicist Dr. Jane Foster in the film, revealed this week that Hemsworth's wife actually stood in for the actress for the key part.

"It was for reshoots [after the film was finished] and he was working in Hong Kong and I couldn't get there because I was working on my own film,"
Portman told the New York Daily News. "And so they put his wife in my wig and costume. That's why it was so passionate."
Hemsworth married "Fast & Furious 6" actress Elsa Pataky in 2010. The couple has one daughter together and announced last month that they are expecting a second child.
Kissing double or not, the "Thor" sequel grossed more than $590 million worldwide and received positive reviews from critics.
