Natalee Holloway, the Alabama teen who disappeared in 2005 during a trip to Aruba, was killed by longtime suspect Joran van der Sloot, says a man who's come forward as an eye witness.

"I saw Natalee Holloway on the last night she was alive. I was the eyewitness," Jurrien de Jong said in a recent interview with "Inside Edition."

"I saw that Joran was chasing Natalee into a small building under construction. In about five minutes he came out with Natalee in his arms, and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor, and then he made an opening in a crawl space . . . I knew she was dead."

Holloway's father, Dave, said that de Jong had come to him with his account last year, and that he is now making one more trip to Aruba on the tenth anniversary of his daughter's disappearance to search for her once again.

This time, he's being accompanied by a private investigator, a reporter, and a cadaver dog.

De Jong said that although he saw the 18-year-old Holloway with then-17-year-old Dutch national van der Sloot on the night of the killing, he didn't come forward until recently because he himself was involved in a crime when he witnessed it.

In addition to Dave Holloway's search, Aruba prosecutor Eric Olthof has stated that the new lead will be investigated for the next couple of months.

The building de Jong described in his account is now a Marriot Hotel, he's said previously, according to AL.com.

Van der Sloot is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence in Peru for the 2010 murder of Stephany Flores in a Lima hotel room.

The Huffington Post reported that he was arrested twice during the Holloway investigation, but was never charged.

He has given conflicting accounts about that night.

"Van der Sloot has claimed to have left Natalee alone and drunk on a beach; he was also caught on hidden camera apparently confessing to the killing, and told Fox News that he sold her into slavery," The Post reported.

He will be extradited to the U.S. to face fraud and extortion charges for his dealings with Holloway's mother.
