The shooter, who was not identified, was reportedly apprehended by authorities in the vicinity of the casino while he attempted to flee. He was subsequently booked on two counts of Assault First Degree, King5.com reported.

"Initially it sounded like fireworks that's what I thought it was at first, but then it started coming more rapidly and then I realized it was gun shots," witness Brandon Wong told KiroTV.com.

According to Wong, two other individuals — a man and a woman — were also arrested by police at the scene, though it is unclear what their suspected involvement was in the crime.

"They threw the guy on the ground, took the weapon off of him, and they had two guys in custody and one female in custody," according to Wong, who said he heard a total of seven or eight gun shots before police arrived.

KiroTV.com reported that police are still unable to say what triggered the shooting; however witnesses say there was an altercation in the parking lot before the shots rang out.

The two victims, both of whom were men in their 20s, were rushed to Harborview Hospital. Their current medical status has not been reported.

Though the victim's identities have yet to be released by police, a woman named Crystal Marlow told KiroTV.com that the men were her "god brothers."

According to Marlow, one of the victims, who she identified as Brian, was shot through his neck, while the other named Daniel was "hit in the chest [piercing] his lung, through and through."

"They're worried about Daniel's lung collapsing and then Brian's windpipe could collapse," Marlow added.

The shooting suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Saturday's shooting is the second to occur at the Auburn casino in recent years, when in July 2011 a man opened fire inside the casino's Club Galaxy hitting his ex-wife, her two sisters, and three bystanders, the Seattle Times reported.
