Morgan Miller's High Life Soars on Cinderella Dayton's 3rd Win

Morgan Miller's "Dayton High Life" is headed upward after the University of Dayton's 82-72 win over the Stanford Cardinals on Thursday night.

Miller, married to the coach of the 2014 NCAA tournament Cinderella team, has been a television and Twitter hit with her "Dayton High Life" shirt she has worn at games during the Flyers tournament run.

The shirt, a play on the Miller Beer High Life logo, has caught the attention of TV commentators and has been making the rounds on Twitter as Dayton, led by coach Archie Miller, continued its unlikely tournament run by beating Stanford to reaching the Elite Eight.

"We're not trying to be lecherous here," wrote Daniel Baumgaertner of Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard blog. "It's that shirt that we love so much. High Life is trustworthy and crisp, a relic of American taste as the craft beer snobs, excuse me 'experts,' crowd our bar taps. Heck, High Life is a lot like Dayton itself."

Baumgaertner wrote that Miller's tournament stardom is similar to Amanda Marcum Enfield, a former model who caught the cameras as her husband's team Florida Gulf Coast made its unlikely run to the Sweet 16 last year. Andy Enfield is now the coach at the University of Southern California, according to the Bleacher Report.

Morgan Miller said she considers the Dayton High Life shirt as sort of a lucky charm in an earlier tweet.

The NCAA tournament this year has been a family affair for the Millers. Archie Miller is the brother of Arizona coach Sean Miller, a 70-64 winner over San Diego State on Thursday in Anaheim, Calif. They became the first brothers to ever coach teams to the Sweet 16 in the same year, noted the New York Post.
